Database Systems
Xtria is an information technology leader, and employs a highly skilled team of system analysts, programmers, and database administrators who have expertise in designing and maintaining databases, including data submissions systems for receipt of data collected in the field. These database systems are developed using Oracle, SQL Server, MS Access, and other various database tools such as Delphi and the Windows version of dBase. Our staff has expertise in a range of scripting languages, including JSP, Java, ASP, VB script, CGI, PHP, and Cold Fusion.

Network Support
Xtria’s experienced staff members provide system migration and upgrades, management, and performance monitoring, including software configuration management, hardware configuration, system utilization monitoring, LAN software installation and tuning, and maintenance of user accounts and network files. Xtria’s Web Application and Development group develops and maintains network and server infrastructure for clients, and Application server installations (Microsoft active directory services, MS Exchange, Web servers, Veritas backup software). Xtria Government Solutions is experienced with measuring and designing the type of network needed for mission critical applications. We have analyzed and implemented networks for hospitals, government agencies, and commercial companies.

Web Development and Graphic Design
Xtria employs a variety of technical and publications support personnel who are available to assist research and data analysis staff in the development of attractive, contemporary, and technically sophisticated publications, both electronic and hard copy. We employ technical editors, desktop publishers, and Web site developers who are available to produce high quality graphics and data presentations, including animated PowerPoint presentations.

Xtria staff members use QuarkExpress, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and PageMaker to develop standout publications and reports for printing and are expert at working with the Government Printing Office (GPO) and publishing houses to ensure production quality via blue line reviews and color matching.

Section 508 Compliance
In June 2001, a government wide policy on accessibility of Federal Web sites for persons with disabilities began to be enforced by the implementation of Section 508 (29U.S.C § 794d) of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973. The Act stipulates that Federal Web sites must be readable to the handicapped public through the use of assistive software, such as screen reading software.

Xtria staff members are at the forefront of understanding and implementing these standards when developing Web sites.
